Our café is open all day for morning coffee, snacks, light lunches and afternoon teas, both to eat in and take away.

Coffee meeting
The café is the perfect place to meet up with friends for a cuppa & catch-up

We have a professional coffee machine to make cappuccinos, espressos, lattes and more, while tea can be served in a simple mug, or a proper pot with china cups and saucers.

We make sandwiches, toasties and paninis to order and we have a small selection of meat and vegetarian pastries bought in fresh daily.

Seasonal lunch specials include home-made vegetarian soup in winter and home-made quiche in summer, plus ploughman’s lunches with local ham and cheese.

And of course, you can always treat yourself to a slice of home-made sponge cake, a brownie or a flapjack!

You really can’t beat a nice cup of tea and a slice of homemade cake…

…that is, unless you’re in the mood for a creamy cappuccino and home-made brownie!

Our outside eating area is popular with dog walkers (dog water bowl is always ready filled) and cyclists (free water bottle top ups) all year round, but especially in summer. If you’re planning a large group cycle or hike through the village, you can phone us ahead of time to give the number in your party and your estimated arrival time – that way we’ll be ready to welcome you with your reserved table and preferred refreshments!

Dogs on leashes are welcome on our patio, and we always keep the dog water-bowl filled!

We’ve brightened up the patio with seasonally planted window boxes, and we often have locally grown plants for sale too.

On hotter days, we offer an array of ice creams and cold drinks, including delicious iced lattes.
